Introduction

Dr. Chetan Mahajan is a super specialist medical professional in the area of the kidney related diseases. He started his medical career in the year 2001 when he joined for MBBS graduation program under the Jammu University. After having completed his graduation and doing 1 year compulsory Internship from Govt. medical College Jammu, he pursued post graduation degree in general medicine from Sher-I-Kashmir institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) deemed medical university, soura, Srinagar (J&K) between 2009 – 2012.

He qualified for D.M. course in nephrology from Kolkata (W.B.) under West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) at SSKM Hospital and IPGMER from 2013 – 2016. He attended various National level conferences throughout the period of training and participated in oral paper presentation, poster presentation & as a visiting delegate. He later started his professional journey as a consultant nephrologist from Medanta- The Medicity, Gurgaon in Oct`2016. he worked their for one & a half year in the institute of Nephro-Urology as consultant nephrologist.

In Feb`2018 he relocated to Udaipur ( Rajasthan) and joined Geetanjali Medical College & hospital as consultant Nephrologist where he worked till Mar’19. At present Dr. Chetan Mahajan is doing regular out-patient departments (OPDs) at Pathankot and Kathua clinics for Kidney problem patients and looking after IPD patients admitted under nephrology as well. He is also supervising the Hemodialysis unit by taking regular round of the patients under going maintenance hemodialysis. 

Dr. Chetan is also actively involved in assisting his professional expertise & services for patients admitted in intensive care unit and across other specialties in the hospital. He is regularly taking care of very critical patients who are admitted with multiple organ failure, hemodynamic instability, severe sepsis, septic shock. Also all those patients who are admitted in cardiac ICU and CTVS ICU (Post cardiac surgery), he is looking after their management whenever renal complication arises.
